These are the six cards made with the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper. (Scroll down to see the same six layouts made with the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper.)
and this is what we started with.
This is how the paper shares comes. Each of the 4″ x 6″ pieces of Designer Series Paper has been cut differently, and the only thing added is Basic White Cardstock.
Any extra pieces that aren’t used on the card front are perfect for adding to the insides of your cards.
For the accents on these cards I am using the Brilliant Wings Dies (which can be bundled with the coordinating stamp set for a 10% savings – the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle)
Card #1: Three Strips
Cut the paper like this. You will only use three of the 1″ strips for this card.
These are all of the pieces.
Card #2: A Basic Z Fold Card
You will use the two larger pieces for this card front.
Score and fold your card front @ 2-1/8″ and 4-1/4″.
The 2-1/8 x 5-1/4 gets attached to the white piece and then to the card inside. You can cut this part to make it narrower if you want more space to write.
Card #3: Angled Strip Card
You will get six 3/4″ strips with your Designer Series Paper so you can make two cards. The edge pieces can be used for an interesting accent inside your card.
Since you can make two cards with this, I chose to cut the Cinnamon Cider cardstock into two 4 x 5-1/4″ pieces and layer those onto Basic White base cards.
Card #4: Panel Card
How easy is this one? 
We are using just the largest piece, adding a basic white layer under it. Save the extra strip for the next card.
Card #5: One of My Favorite Card Layouts
Why? … because it shows off both sides of the paper!
The inside looks like this.
The larger piece will be used.
Cut the card base at 5-1/4 x 5-1/2 and score @ 1″ so that the inside of the card measures 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.
Lay the Designer Series Paper on top of the card inside, add adhesive along the left side, and close up the card.
Cut the 1″ strip left over from card #4, trim it to 3/3″ and it to the card front.
Card #6: A Basic Square
You will get two cards out of this layout too – and look how easy it is to cut your paper!
Split the 1″ strip in half at 1/2″ and you have nice accents for the card inside.

You can always choose to add another layer. Just cut that cardstock 1/4″ larger.
