If you have ever seen an impossible fun fold card and wondered how it was made – you will love this tutorial. Its so easy but really packs a wow!
These cards fold flat for mailing, but when you take it out of the envelope it pops open like this!
The Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper along with the Country Bouquet Bundle makes lovely Valentine’s cards, thinking of you cards or thank you cards.
For those guy cards – if they like motorcycles, the Ready to Ride Designer Series Paper is perfect.
The motorcycle on this card is right from the paper, but you can also stamp them and add this sentiment with the Legendary Ride Bundle.
Or – if there is any farming involved, either past or present, the Day at the Farm Designer Series Paper is a perfect fit.
But really, with its fun nostalgic look, this paper is for anyone!
And for the kids (of all ages including adults), the Rain or Shine Designer Series Paper has the cutest images ever!
What a fun “missing you” card or a thank you card for that person who helped you through a tough time!
So – how easy is it make an impossible card?
Supplies:
Score the base card (the 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of cardstock) @ 2-1/8″ along the short side.
Cut @2-3/4″ from the top of the card to the fold line.
Cut @ 1″ and 4-1/2″ from the bottom of the card to the fold line.
Stack the two 2-1/2″ x 4″ pieces of Designer Series Paper, one right on top of the other, before cutting.
Cut in 3/4″ from the top right corner down 2-1/8″. Cut that part off.
This is how your base card will look.
Now, twist the card so that it looks like this. (Watching the video below will help you with that.)
Add the Designer Series Paper pieces that you have cut out.
Add the long strip of Designer Series Paper on the long strip coordinating with the card base and attach the ends to the base card like this.
This will give the card more stability.
