How many times have you heard (or said) “just a minute”? Often, it really means “be patient for more than a minute”….right? Today is the start of my Just a Minute! video series which will be offered at random times……and it really means “just a minute”. I have the timer set. No fluff, no details, just the main thing!
Here are the first three:
Need a last minute gift for Valentine’s Day or an little something special to add to a book?
Try this quick and easy heart bookmark using only the Full Heart Punch and card stock.
This would be a great project to do with kids!
Need some inspiration for new backgrounds for masculine cards?
Check out this quick idea for making a weathered wood look with the Hardwood stamp and the Aqua Painters.
Do you ever have trouble getting your stamps to stick to your clear blocks?
Try this quick trip and you will never have that problem again! (Thanks, Georgia Giguere)
Please let me know what you think of these one minute videos! Leave a comment.
Karen, thank you for the great one minute tips. I’ve been using tack over & over, but the 2 way glue pen is going to be much better and a lot quicker. I also like the tip with the wood background. Going to try that one tonight and since I’m always looking for odd bookmarks to give away, I’m also going to start working on these as a little something to give to church members. Thanks again for sharing. Hugs ‘N Blessings
Sorry but there was no videos to watch 🙁
Karen, I love your Just a Minute videos! They are very informative in just the right amount of time!
Good idea. Enjoyed all three. Look forward to the next ones. Thanks.
Love, Love, the videos!! They were so informative in just a short amount of time. I don’t like videos that go on and on with just mostly talking. You got the job done. Thanks.
Thanks so much Karen for the 1 minute video on helping make the rubber stick to the acrylic blocks. I will be 2 way gluing ALL of my stamps!
Awesome videos. Would not have thought of using the 2 way glue pen to hold clear stamps on a block. Thank you because I would get a little upset because they wouldn’t stick to the block. Also enjoyed video using the agua painter on the card, so cool. Thanks again learned something new/
Thanks, Nancy! I have going through all of mine and doing that. Some days my table is covered with stamps just for that purpose!
Anne, I really appreciate your comment! That was my new idea – because I was starting to feel that, unless you are new to stamping and need to know the measurements, all you really want to see is what technique is used. I figure if I can deliver 10 tips or techniques in 10 minutes that will be worth anyone’s time! You just validated that thought for me! I am a fan of you.
Thanks, Lenora! I will keep them coming and I appreciate you taking the time to comment!
Eileen, thanks so much!
Eileen, I have you to thank for getting me posting on Splitcoast…so thanks!
Hi Eileen, did you try again? Let me know if you can’t watch the videos.
Hi Brenda, I was using a lot of different things to keep my stamps on the block – and my blocks looked like it too! I love how nice the blocks stay now.
The weathered look would be great on bookmarks. I love that you make things to give away – thats the true spirit of stamping! Its those thoughtful little things that mean so much!
