If you haven’t made your Mother’s Day cards yet, you must be a procrastinator like me! Here is a fun idea using the My Mother stamp set, the On Film Framelits Dies, and the Petite Petals with the Petite Petals Punch. I love the bright combination of Real Red and Tempting Turquoise, but any color combination would look great!
How are you celebrating Mother’s Day?
Unfortunately, I will be celebrating at the University of Minnesota Hospital where my 89 year old mother will be undergoing two major surgeries. I sit by her bed working on my computer and keeping her company while we wait to hear more. Due to a fall, she has both a burst fracture and a bone break in her spine and needs two surgeries unless she never wants to sit up or get out of bed or be pain-free……an easy choice to make! After surgery, she will spend 3 months in transition care before hopefully moving back to her apartment. What a long road ahead! She is accepting it all with grace and courage.
So…be sure to give your mothers, daughters, and anyone else you spend Mother’s Day with an extra hug and let them know you love them! We never know what lies ahead.
