What else can we do with the Time for Cake Paper Pumpkin?
This was a fun kit to work with. It includes a double stamp set with numbers and birthday sentiments you will use on lots of other cards.
Before starting your cards, cut the envelopes apart so that you have patterned paper to work with.
Watch the video below to see how each is made.
Card #1
- Score an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of cardstock at 2-1/8″ and 4-1/4″.
- Fussy cut the cake and decorate.
- Add 3 strips of 5″ x 1-3/4″ patterned paper.
- Pop up the sentiment piece with dimensionals to make the easel card.
Card #2
- Decorate the card front as shown in the kit.
- Score an 8″ x 1″ piece of white cardstock at 2-1/4″, 4″ and 5-3/4″.
- Attach to the inside of the card in a W shape.
- Cut the balloon cardstock in the kit in half and attach to each end of this strip.
- Add the middle pieces.
Card #3
Follow the directions in the kit but put on a different background for a plainer look.
Card #4
This uses the accordian piece folded a different way and it slides into the front pocket.
Cut apart the accordian card in the kit to make the next two cards.
Card #5
- Score the card base at 2-1/8″ and fold into Z fold.
- Use the largest piece and layer on a 3-3/4″ x 4″ piece of Moody Mauve cardstock.
- Use the piece with the white space for the card inside.
Notice how these adhesive neutral embellishments add to the candle flames.
Card #6
- Use the smallest part of the accordion card and layer it on a 1-3/4″ x 4″ piece of Moody Mauve cardstock.
- Add three 3-3/4″ x 1-1/2″ strips of patterned paper across the card front.
Card #7
- Card base is 6-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 2″ and folded.
- Add two 1-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ pieces of patterned paper.
- Add the balloons so that the card will latch. (Watch the video to see how that is done.)
Card #8
Add 1-1/2″ x 3-3/4″ strip of patterned paper to the card front.
