Now, let’s make some changes!
Easy Easel Cards
- Start with a 4-1/4” x 11” piece of cardstock and score @ 2-3/4” and 5-1/2”. Fold into an easel.
- Create the card front according to the directions in the kit. Then cut it down to 3-3/4” x 5”
- Layer this on a 4” x 5-1/4” piece of coordinating cardstock and then attach to the lower part of the card front.
- Cut a 1-3/4” x 4” piece from the back of the card and add dimensionals to make that stand up on the bottom of the card. This will form the easel stop. (Watch the video below to see this being made.)
Z-Fold Card
- Start with an 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” piece of cardstock scored @ 2-1/8” and 4-1/4”. Fold into a z shape.
- Create the card front according to the directions in the kit. Then cut it down to 3-3/4” x 5”.
- Layer this on a 4” x 5-1/4” piece of coordinating cardstock and attach just the left side of this piece to the front fold of the card.
- Add the back of the original card to the inside of this card.
Quick Card
- Cut apart one of the cards in the kits.
- Attach the back of the card (the colorful piece) to a Basic White base card.
- Using dimensionals to pop it up, attach the flower piece to a piece of Basic Black cardstock and then to the card front.
- Attach the original card front to the inside of the card. Write or stamp over this in black ink or add a small piece of white for the message.
On to the nine envelopes! The envelopes look like this..
When I saw these, I immediately thought of one of my favorite card designs – the front flip card!
