What else can we do with the Nests of Christmas Paper Pumpkin Kit?
Enjoy seeing these 12 unique cards all made with the October 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Nests of Christmas! These kits give us each a chance to be like kids again and just play. It has enough supplies to keep things interesting but not too much to feel overwhelming.
When I sit down to create with a Paper Pumpkin Kit, I lay out all of the pieces from the kit, adding only a few extra card bases in coordinating colors. For this kit, I trimmed the cut-outs because I wanted less white space around the images, but that was just my personal preference.
Measurements for cut pieces are listed with each card. Watch the video below to see all of them being made, with tips and tricks along the way.
Card #1:
Score at 2-1/8″ and 4-1/4″ and fold into Z fold. Add 4″ x 5-1/4″ patterned paper on the inside and 2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ on the front panel.

Card #3:
Framed piece trimmed to 4″ x 5-1/4″.
Card #4:
Framed piece trimmed to 4″ x 5-1/4″.
Card #5:
The tag is 2″ x 3-1/2″.
Card #6:
Add a 2″ x 5-1/4″ patterned paper.
Card #7:
Add a 3″ x 5-1/4″ patterned paper on the card front and 3″ x 3-1/2″ piece on the center.
Card #8:
Add three strips measuring 1-1/4″ x 5″.
Card #9:
Base card trimmed to 4” wide.
Add 3-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ strip across the card and 3″ x 5″ piece layered on top.
Card #10:
4″ x 5-1/4″ piece cut into two pieces at a diagonal. Add one to the card front and the other to the card inside.
These last two cards are made using the envelopes.
Card #11:
3-3/4″ x 5″ layered on a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and then on to the Shaded Spruce base card.
Card #12:
The green framed piece is layered over the 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of the envelope. Tuck in extra pieces of greenery.
