Today's Stampin Up Card Ideas for a walk down Fifth Avenue Floral for simple elegance. I have used this Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set countless times. I helped a friend make her wedding invitations with this set and they were really pretty.
I remember making 80 cards like this one to send out to friends and downline members on my team:
Notice the combination of two different embossing folders used, one on the white card stock and the other on the Not Quite Navy card stock. The flower itself is bigger than the piece of card stock its stamped on, so it completely fills the space. Adding the glitter around the outline finishes the look.
Isn't this a gorgeous card? Give it to a special person and she will be totally impressed! Its embossed in white on the Shimmery White Paper. Then, use an Aqua Painter to pick up some ink from the ink refills and lightly press it to the paper in different areas. It will spread out. Do this with two or three different inks, add to the paper in different spots, and they will all run a bit, forming this beautiful pattern. Each one turns out a little differently. The inks will stay within the embossed lines.
This last card is another simple and elegant Stampin Up Card. The flower is stamped in blue with the words stamped right over it in black. That gives a very soft look to the card. You probably noticed that the first and last card on this post are done with a blue, black, and white color scheme. I think that is really a striking color combination.
There is also a coordinating Big Shot Embossing Folder, Manhattan Flower, that has the same flower on it. Its a great idea to get them both so you have lots more fun options for these Stampin Up card ideas for a walk down Fifth Avenue Floral is an elegant way to go!
