At last night's monthly Fine Line get-together, we had our usual card swap contest. (The Fine Line is the name of my group of demonstrators.) The Stampin' Up! Frightening Feline won the contest! This winning card was by Bree LeMire:
This Frightening Feline has very spooky eyes, don't you think? They are made with the Googlies put on top of circles of Basic Black Card Stock. I like how the eyes are looking off to the side in a rather "sinister" fashion. The orange "boo" neck band is popped up for another accent.
Lots of detail went into the rest of the card as well. The Elegant Eggplant Card Stock, the Pumpkin Pie used in the 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon as well as the Card Stock and the Gumball Green Card Stock make a fun Halloween color combination. The Spider Web Embossing Folder fits every Halloween card and the Basic Gray 1/2" Striped Satin Ribbon adds the final "Halloween" touch.
Frightening Feline is a single stamp which sells for only $8.95. It is actually made up of spooky words like "scream, screech…." It is a favorite for those who love cats and Halloween! (Does that describe you? Or someone you know? Be sure to get this stamp into those hands!)
Its no wonder that this Stampin' Up! Frightening Feline won the contest!
