You can use the Stampin' Up! Layered Labels for all occasions when you are making greeting cards. These cards are all made with the Layered Labels stamp set, the Apothecary Accents Framelits, and the International Bazaar Designer Series Paper.
The Large Pearls give a fitting accent!
Notice the difference color makes in the card above and the card below. Both use the exact pattern and even the same designer series paper pack, yet they look different from each other. What if you didn't want to have them both say "congratulations"? In the stamping video tutorial below, I will show you how to change this to a "happy birthday" card using words from the Family Reunion stamp set.
I used a variety of Stampin' Up! punches to highlight the greetings after they were cut out with the the Apothecary Accents Framelits in the Big Shot. Do you see the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, the 2 1/2" Circle Punch, and the 3/4" Circle Punches on these cards? I love the way all of the Stampin' Up! products work well together, with the stamp sets, the punches, and the Big Shot Dies and Framelits. It takes the guesswork out of designing!
Wouldn't a variety of cards made like this make a great gift?
You only need the Layered Labels, the Apothecary Accents Framelits, and the International Bazaar Designer Series Paper, along with any other word stamps you might want to use, to make an entire set of greeting cards! I've shown only a few of the possible paper combinations with just this designer series paper. Its an interesting and rich grouping of colors that does really give that feeling of an international bazaar.
So have I convinced you to use the Stampin' Up! Layered Labels for all occasions when you are making your hand made cards?
