The vintage pick-up truck on this card makes me think of a Minnesota Countryside. We will be making this tomorrow at my
Masculine Cards Stamp-A-Stack

I love the way these two framelits from the same set (the Apothecary Accents) layer!
1. Half of the front of the Crumb Cake base card was put through the Chevron Folder, then lightly sponged with Easy Espresso ink. This is to give a bit of a "tire tracks" look,
2. With the Apothecary Accents Framelits, use the largest framelit with Sahara Sand card stock, and used the other framelit pictured on this card with Early Espresso card stock. (Make two of those.)
3. Stamp the truck from the Countryside stamp set in Early Espresso. With a blender pen, fill in parts of the truck just by pulling the ink from the stamped image itself into the blank space. Clean the blender pen and then color in the apples with Real Red ink and the grass with Wild Wasabi, being careful to not pull in too much of the Early Espresso.
4. Use the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack to create the design around the large Apothecary Accents piece, then sponge the edges with Early Espresso. You are finished with this card from the Countryside!
Welcome to the Silent Movies of Long Ago!
I love the nostalgic feeling that the Countryside stamp set gives. For many, its a walk down memory lane. I wish I could say I planned this silent movie in honor of that, but you would know that I simply forgot to turn on the sound! (and I have no idea how to do a "talk-over") I don't have time to re-record this at the moment so I'm leaving it……but know that this isn't my new plan for future videos! The advantage is……you can speed through the video since you are just watching and reading a bit of text.
In addition to this pick up truck, there is an old wheelbarrow, the old water pump, a rooster, and a single apple. The sketched look of these stamps are perfect for water coloring, but they also stand along just simply stamped.
Whether you are from the Countryside or the city, you will love the cards you can make with this set!
Thanks for bearing with me as I keep working on my computer skills. I usually learn from my mistakes and don't repeat them. Unfortunately, with the computer, there is an unending list of mistakes I haven't yet made!
