Do you ever get frustrated with your ribbon skills? When it comes to tying a knot, do you feel like you have all thumbs? Once you learn this technique, those thoughts will change.
In this video, you can watch me tie a pretty ribbon around my Stampin' Up! card! I will actually show you two ways to do it and you will love your ribbons even more after trying this!
Now, wasn't that easy? Repeat it a few times at one sitting and then you might remember it forever! (or perhaps you will just remember where to come back to watch this video!)
Saturday is the last day of 2012 Sale a bration! The stamp set I used on this quick and easy card, the Elementary Elegance stamp set, will be going away forever! If you haven't already gotten yours, you will want to place a $50 order by Saturday to receive it!
I love the frame in this set and the pretty cursive style of the words. It coordinates with the Curly Label Stampin' Up! Punch (p. 209 #119851 $16.95) A fun way to use the punch is to punch out the inside of the frame and the front of the card so that the words are actually on the inside of the card.
I used the Mocha Morning Specialty Designer Series Paper (p. 183 #122366 $12.95) on this card. That is one of my favorite sets of designer series paper. I love the color combinations of crumb cake, early espresso, very vanilla, basic black, and soft suede. Its a great combination for masculine cards!
As you can see, this card is really quick and easy! You could easily make up a stack of them to use for different occasions.
If you learned something new about tying ribbons from this video today, I would love to have you share it with a friend! They too will love to use ribbon more after watching me tie a pretty ribbon around my Stampin' Up! card!
