Today's feature is Vintage Vogue Stampin' Up! Card Ideas! This beautiful set of eight stamps is fun to work with. I have four totally different samples to share with you!
On this card, the large flower is embossed in white on whisper white card stock and then sponged over in a light color. That creates a pretty accent. The Finial Press Embossing Folder (also being discontinued), the Scallop Trim Border Punch, and the large and regular Basic Pearls finish the look.
On this card you will see both of the flowers used on the colorful background. Notice the green on green accents on the bottom layer too. This uses another of the stamps in the Vintage Vogue stamp set. The letter "F" stamp for "friends" is stamped in black, cut out, and popped up for a dramatic accent.
Marina Mist and Basic Black make a great color combination. The Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder (not retiring, thankfully) makes the background, with a touch of Chantilly Lace (on the retired accessories list) across the top.
This beautiful background uses the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder again, but in a different way. Glossy white paper is brayered over with Pretty in Pink Ink and then run through the BIg Shot Embossing Machine. Notice how the raised part is white while the basic card stock stays pink. Isn't it pretty?
I particularly like one of the phrases in this stamp set: "You raise kindness to an art." That is such a nice way of saying thanks to someone.
So there are four Vintage Vogue Stampin' Up! Card Ideas! Keep watching for more card making ideas with more retiring stamp sets yet to come!
The punched out flower uses the 5 Petal Flower Punch (on the discontinued list) and the Boho Blossoms Punch (not on the list).
