I’m off to convention, but thought I would show you how I make quantity swaps. This is just one of the cards I made for swapping.
For this card, I used the Perfect Blend stamp set, the This & That Designer Series Paper and the This & That Washi Tape. Notice how the washi tape is used randomly to hold one of the layers down. On the inside of the card, I would use the same washi tape to hold a Starbucks gift card!
When I make a lot of one card, I cut all of the card stock and place it into piles. With the coffee cup, you can see that for the label I am placing over the cup, I used narrow card stock since that is the only part of the stamp I needed.
In cutting the Early Espresso layer under the cup, which measures 4 x 3, I cut my 8 1/2″ x 11″ card stock this way. That will leave the largest strip off the one edge that I can cut off and use for another project.
Here is a video if you want to see everything done:
I will be thinking of you while I’m at Convention the rest of this week. The last three years I have taken my computer, only to have it not work when I’m there anyway, so this year I’m leaving it at home! I hope to borrow one to make a post and otherwise, I will catch you up on everything next week!
