This easy to make Rocker Card is perfect for a rocking horse! Here it is a Christmas card, but think about how easy it would be to change it to an adorable baby card!
You will love how quickly this comes together.
Let’s start with the rocker base.
Start with a 4″ circle using the Deckled Circles Dies or any other circle dies. If you don’t have dies, you can trace a circle on your cardstock using a small bowl and cut it out. Score in half and fold.
Go one size smaller for the front decorative piece and for the white piece for the back of the card. (This is where you will write your message.) You only need half of a circle for each of these so you can cut your full circle in half or just cut half.
Score a 1/2″ x 2″ piece of cardstock @ 1/2″, 1″ and 3/4″. Accordian fold this piece. This will hold the base together. Add adhesive to the two ends and attach to the inside of the card base.
Add the white half circle to the back and the half patterned circle to the front.
Stamp the rocking horse from the Rocking Horse Bundle two times on Basic White cardstock. Color one of them. Die cut both of them out along with the extra rocker piece.
Use adhesive to attach the two horse pieces together, leaving just the bottom of the rocker open. Add a Mini Glue Dot to each side of the inside of the the rocker and attach over the rocker base.
Add the sentiment and you are finished.
Did you know that I also have 12 Weeks of Christmas projects coming by email too? And they are all different!!! Make sure you are signed up to receive them.
