Are you ready for Halloween? Whether you do little gifts for grandkids, or you are helping kids make their own – here are a variety of quick and easy Halloween treat ideas!
Pull-up Halloween Treat Boxes
By the way, these are little sticker boxes from the local dollar store. We love to give Halloween treats that don’t include candy. Kids pull up the string to see what the surprise is.
I have been using this idea for many, many years for every occasion you can think of. If you haven’t tried this yet and would like a tutorial, just watch the video below – or click here to see this same idea used with a cocoa pack.
Tim’s Starbuck Via Wrap for Halloween
When our kids were young, we would go trick or treating with other families. The adults would stay on the sidewalk and watch the kids go up to the houses. Occasionally, we were offered treats along with our kids! We are continuing this practice and Tim came up with this idea for “trick or treats” for the adults!
Wrap a belly band around the drink and add the Cat Punch cat and the Merry Cafe coffee cup!
Mr Pumpkin Man with Seasonal Chums
Wouldn’t kids love making these to put on everyone’s plates at dinner? With kids, stamp the pumpkin from Seasonal Chums on white card stock so they can enjoy coloring him. (And, with this stamp set – you can turn Mr Pumpkin Man over and see the back of his head too!)
Cat Punch Crackers
What fun to pull on the ends of the tissue paper and discover what is inside! If you watch the video you will see I added some eyeball balls, creepy balloons and plastic insects – but you could add candy or anything else you want.
Build a Monster Kit
Creative gifts are always a favorite to give at our house! Package a couple of small Play Dough packs, some googly eyes and other trims like sparkly pipe cleaners and a child has everything need to make their own monster. The heads from the Creep It Real stamp set make a great topper!
Brush Your Fangs Halloween Kit
Here is the perfect “nagging mom” Halloween treat: a piece of candy or two along with a brand new toothbrush to use afterwards – and a cautionary tale of what might happen if you don’t brush!
Halloween Mini Test Tubes Container with Pumpkin Teeth!
Of course – you will tell the kids that the pumpkins on the front of this container have “lost their teeth” but those teeth have been found!
These directions will help you make this – but, of course, watch the video below to see this and the other six projects being made!
Cut a 2 1/2″ x 9 3/4″ piece of card stock and score at 1/2″, 1 1/2″, 3″, 5″, and 8 1/2″. Punch holes with the 3/4″ Circle Punch as shown.
Put Tear & Tape along the edge and attach like this (and decorate!)
