Lattice cards, or Braided cards as they are sometimes called, are easy to make and give a very different look.
Download the template here and create along with us!
The Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper make beautiful lattice cards.
This card is make with an 8″ x 5-1/4″ piece of dsp (scored at 4″ and folded) and layered onto a 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ piece of cardstock. Notice how the Misty Moonlight color shows through the lattice as well as around the edges of the card front.
How cute is this bear with the heart from the Count on Me stamp set?
The heart paper is from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper.
An entirely different look is achieved when you place the lattice part on the front of the card instead of along the fold.

Hi Karen and Tim, I have also managed to print off the template and played with making the lattice card. I very quickly made a bookmark for my granddaughter yesterday,I was so pleased with myself! I made one test piece that I obviously cut from the wrong end because it was completely wrong ! But a lesson learnt I hope! I shall be making lots of this style of card, they look amazing but so quick and easy to do. Thank you both for making my days brighter. Take care , love to you both. Kath ?
