This is a gift idea I have been making for years … and I am so happy that Stampin’ Up! is selling these Tiny Treat Boxes! It pairs perfectly with the Every Occasion stamp set.
A big shout out to Linda Heller who gave me a gift similar to this many years ago!
Little Gift Idea or Table Favors
Think of any event for women – a luncheon, etc. Wouldn’t these make sweet (and memorable) table favors? Look how adorable each of these cards are.
Supplies to Make These Gifts
I started with a few scraps of Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper and took my ink colors from that: Crushed Curry, Emerald Envy, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, and Tempting Turquoise.
After stamping each image, I punched it out with a Circle Punch (sometimes adding another circle punch layer).
A little bit of the designer series paper was added, the card was assembled … and finished off with a little Metallic Enamel Shape.
(That is the only extra embellishment on the cards and I think it ties the theme together.)
Cutting Tip for Making Tiny Cards
The cards themselves are 2″ square and made from Whisper White card stock. Here is a quick tip for cutting them.
Cut your card stock 4″ wide. Lay it on the Scoring Board and score at 2″. Fold the entire strip at once, then cut at 2″ lengths.
Be sure to come back tomorrow! Here is a sneak preview
More Tiny Treat Boxes!
Is that just “so stinkin’ cute”? (I don’t think I have ever said that before!)
I did a Facebook Live sharing these ideas which you can find on my Facebook Page right here.
