Easy to Make Faux Side Step Cards
Who wouldn’t love to receive this adorable moose from the All Bundled Up Stamp Set? “You’re the Coolest” is such a great sentiment too. The paper is from the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper.
Maybe you would like to make a stunning Christmas card that will be displayed? The Peace to You Stamp Set along with the Lights Aglow Specialty Designer Paper create this lovely card.
(For this stamp, the Stamparatus is great to use because you can keep reinking the stamp in black until you get the full coverage you want.)
Gnomes are so popular – so how about this cute card featuring the adorable gnome from the Kindest Gnomes Bundle.
The trees on the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper were cut so that the tree tops would rise above the card folds.
The Pretty Birds Bundle just goes with bright colors. These birds are each made with three different stamps – the outline in black and the two inside pieces in Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party (how fitting) and paired with the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper.
The Bottled Happiness Bundle makes cards for any occasion. This is a stamp set plus the Vintage Bottle Punch, which you will use for many other projects as well. This paper is also from the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper just like the bird card. This paper pack includes all of the five new in colors so they are bright and beautiful!
If you like fussy cutting, you will love this Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper. All of the patterned papers on this card are from this paper. Add any sentiment (or leave it without) and you have a lovely floral card for any occasion.
How do you make a Faux Side Step Card?
Supplies:
Score the 8″ x 5-1/2″ piece at 3″, 6″, and 7″. Fold as shown in the photo and attach the two pieces of Designer Series Paper.
Add adhesive to the top and bottom of the 3″ x 6″ piece of cardstock and attach the edge of the long side to the card front edge and the other to the back of the card. (You might want to have your patterned paper on straighter than I did!)

I really love this layout. Today I just cranked out more than a dozen Christmas cards using this format. I had different papers and even a few pieces from a paper pumpkin December tag get that I put onto cards! It looks really cute. Thanks for this fantastic and versatile layout
