Looking for a different idea for a Mother’s Day card – or maybe a spring birthday card?
This flower pot card is free standing and it is a pull-out card too. Pull the flowers out and you can read the message.
You can easily pair this with a pot of flowers as a gift, or flower seeds or a gift card for a gardening center.
This little easel on the back is what makes the card stand.
Just think of all of the gardeners in your life too! Wouldn’t this be fun to make for them?
How to Make a Standing Flower Pot Card with a Pull Out Message!
Supplies:
This is the template for the flower pot.
Score the large piece of cardstock @ 3-1/2″ and 7″. Fold like this.
On the bottom fold of the flower pot, make a mark @ 1/2″ on each side. Cut from this mark to the upper edge of the flower pot, not including the rim.
Wrap ribbon or twine around the rim of the pot to keep it closed.
Layer the smaller white piece of cardstock on to the larger. This will slip right into the middle of the flower pot.
Add the flowers.
For the stand up easel, score the narrow strip @ 2″, 3″, 4″ and 6″. Add adhesive to the 1″ end and attach to the other end to form an equal triangle with 2″ on each side.
Fold in at the 3″ mark so the easel will fold. Attach this to the back of the card.
