The Easter Message stamp set is perfect for using this Painting with Bleach Technique.
Isn’t that a stunning look for a beautiful Easter card?
- First, the image was embossed with Early Espresso.
- Then, I poured a small amount of bleach in a plastic container (I used a cutoff end of a soda pop bottle). I added a paper towel to help prevent spilling.
- Using a dried up Blender Pen that I have saved just for this purpose, I painted the cloth on the cross. The full effect of the bleach becomes clear after it sits for a bit.
Different colors of card stock bleach out differently. Look at these cards done using the same technique – done in Smoky Slate, Marina Mist, Crumb Cake and Basic Gray.
To finish the card, take a piece of 4″ x 5 1/4″ Crumb Cake card stock and run through the Woodgrain folder. Use the largest Layering Oval Thinlit to cut out the frame.
Assemble the card.
