Lets start with a pack of Notecards & Envelopes (only $6.50 for 20!) and use a variety of stamp sets and techniques to create these simple stamped cards! The Facebook Live at the end of the post shows how all are made.
Washi Tape:
A strip of Washi Tape or Designer Series Paper makes a shelf or table for this cute vase with flowers. (Varied Vases)
Spotlighting Technique:
Spotlighting is the stamping technique of highlighting just one part of your image! On this card, a Circle Punch was used on part of the image. Just that circle part was colored in – and then it was popped up on a slightly large circle in a solid color and then added back on the image. (Wonderful Romance)
Masking Technique:
Masking allows you to put one image partially behind another. Wouldn’t this make a great party invitation? (Birthday Cheer)
Die Cuts:
Adding a die cut makes a dramatic focal point for a card. (Detailed Birthday Dies)
Blender Pen Watercoloring:
Stamp your image with a Classic Ink Pad and use a blender pen to pull out the color. (Geared Up Garage)
A Simple Circle Layout
Adding circles like this creates a fun layout that you can use over and over. (So Hoppy)
For Dog Lovers Everywhere:
Add a balloon to make this dog punch card perfect for celebrating a birthday. (Happy Tails)
Just a Bit of Color:
Adding just a touch of color to a black on white image makes the image pop! (Lovely Lattice)
Quick Watercolor Technique:
This is similar to the car card. Stamp the trees in classic ink and then just scribble over them to give the effect of sky. (Waterfront)
Swiping Technique:
Use the edge of the stamp pad to swipe along the card to create the water and sand. (Beach Happy)
Multiple Images on One Block:
Line up these four stamps on a single acrylic block to make easy stamping. (Needle & Thread)
Punched Out:
Add a layer of Designer Series Paper behind the punched out images to create this card. (Butterfly Duet Punch)
Coloring Accents:
Use Stampin’ Blends to color over these Heart Epoxy Droplets – or pearls or rhinestones. (Hey Love)
Easy Marker Background:
Use a Stampin’ Write Marker to scribble a background that resembles watercolor. (Rooster)
Designer Series Paper Accent:
A bit of Designer Series Paper is all that is needed to make this black and white card. (Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper)
Ombre Technique:
Stamp the same image several times, moving along the paper without re-inking to make this ombre effect. (Incredible Like You)
