I have been a SU! demonstrator for 20 years and I think I have been making these little gift bags for 19 of those!
They require no adhesive and will store flat until you are ready to use them! They would be great for party favors – but also for a gift holder. * And, these Designer Series Papers are on sale this month!
The small bag in the photo is made with a 6″ square of Designer Series Paper and the large bag with a 12″ square. So … you can use any size square!
There is a video tutorial of this and several other Designer Series Paper Projects at the end of this post, but here are the written directions.
Designer Series Treat Bags
Fold the square in half like this. (This bag uses the Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper)
Next, fold the top corner down to touch the bottom of the paper.
Using that fold line as a guide, fold both sides of the paper right under that first fold.
When you fold the top back down and add a little gift, the bag will stay sturdy with no adhesive!
Here is the same bag but using the Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper. For the gift, I punched out a 2″ circle of one of the other papers in this set and attached that to the top of the Christmas Trinkets Embellishments. Won’t that make a great Holiday gift for a crafter?
I filled the 12″ treat bag with some other crafting supplies.
Just think of all of the other things you can use these for!!!
