Did you know that both word are correct for the plural of “octopus”? I certainly didn’t!
When I saw this cute new stamp set Sea Street, I immediately thought of that classic children’s game “Barrel of Monkeys”. Did you grow up playing that? I figured with all these tentacles, these octopuses would be great for that game!
I loved these words too – “you’ve got me” since it seemed that the object of this game was to connect! In the set of words that contain this, the Something to Say stamp set, there are words that can go before this….”You’ve got courage, you’ve got strength, (you’ve got me). That’s a great sentiment for someone undergoing a challenge.
Isn’t it fun that when you change the context of words, you can also change the emotion and meaning behind them?
Have fun with this set! Bring out that inner child in you! (and, of course, you don’t need to fussy cut like I did!)

What a fun card – and great colour choice. Chris x
OMG adorable! 🙂
Thanks for joining the Link Up this week!
I most certainly didn’t know they could be called either way. But such a gorgeous card and the octopuses are so darn cute! ( Hopped over from You’re gonna love it Tuesday)
Such a fun idea for a card. I never played barrel of monkeys but it must be a fun game.
Too cute! Stopping by from Juggling Real Food party!
Thanks so much for sharing your creativity with us at Show-Licious Craft & Recipe Party! Hope to see you again next Saturday morning starting at 8:00 am EST!
