The Stampin' Up! Swallowtail stamp is one of my favorites and this scribble technique is fun and easy to do!

Doesn't this make a pretty gift bag? I made this bag as a wedding gift so I added the "congratulations" from the Perfect Punches stamp set and the Modern Label Punch and the "mr & misses" from the Tiny Tags stamp set with the Jewelry Tag Punch. You can see that this would be great for any occasion so just make a tag for the person you are giving it to!
Aqua Painters, Embossing, and Scribbling
There is a video below to show all the steps. I embossed the Swallowtail in white and then used the aqua painters to "scribble". I call it scribbling because I was just spreading the color anywhere I wanted it, not trying to stay within any lines! Since its going to be cut out, even the outside edges of the butterfly don't matter!
I used drops of Pool Party, Marina Mist, and Daffodil Delight ink refills to color this butterfly and, with different colors, you would get totally different looks.
The different size pearls on the body finish it off and the Swallowtail butterfly can be attached to a bag with a couple of glue dots.
As I mention in the video, I do all of my cutting while watching TV since I can't just sit and watch a program! I made several of this, cut them all out, and now they will be ready to put on a bag at any time.
Wouldn't some bags like this make a great gift?
